The chalet was impeccably equipped with all the essentials, including the luxury of white goods and a dishwasher - a definite bonus for someone who loves to cook while on vacation. the cozy living area, complete with comfy couches and an electric coal stove, made for the perfect spot to unwind with a book after a day of exploring the bustling tourist attractions nearby. One of the standout features for me was the convenience of having a washer and dryer on site - a godsend for someone who loves to pack light and travel efficiently. the thoughtful touches like basic food items, teas, and a delicious filter coffee for the cafetiere added a homely touch to the experience. Overall, this chalet served as the perfect base for my travels, offering a mix of convenience and relaxation in a stunning location. With its close proximity to Inverness Airport and only 70 km away from the city itself, it was the ideal retreat for a memorable Scottish adventure. I highly recommend this hidden gem to fellow travelers looking for a cozy and private oasis in the heart of Fort Augustus.
